Spring Has Sprung

Or so they say. Last night the temperature fell to 19 degrees. There's a new skim of ice on the fish pond and the tulips and daffodils are looking a bit chilled. For southeastern Pennsylvania, the normal daytime temperatures should be hitting the fifties, and overnight lows should be in the thirties in the last week of March.

It's also Red Flag Warning time in our area - there's been little or no rain for a long time, winds are brisk and humidity is low. C'mon Mother Nature - it's time to lighten up a bit on this region.

I guess the month will go out like a lion ... let's at least hope for April showers and spring flowers before Easter.
